On bees

Bees are busy!  Or they look busy to us anyways.  They look industrious, always moving, using the daylight hours to the best of their abilities.

But have you seen bees at night?  I have — they sleep on my flowers!  I will come outside early in the morning, and I have bees everywhere, nestled into the soft center of the flowers, waiting for the dew to dry off of their wings.  I just find that so cute!

And it reminds me that part of the creative process is sleeping comfortably, nestled on a soft bed, waiting for the warmth of the sun to shine on my face and get me moving again.
